Doorkeeper
A simple way of handling event check-in. Attendees are provided with tickets that have a QR code by email. When they come to the door, they show the QR code on their phone (or on paper). The door personnel uses registered handsets with QR code scanners to scan the QR code, which checks-in the ticket holder.
Doorkeeper is based on Live Check-in technology developed by Ubit.

A bulk video encoder. Easily harness the power of cloud computing to quickly convert large volumes of video from one format to another.

Lithe Convert
A solution for on the fly transcoding of audio files from one encoding to another. It currently handles transcoding to an optimized format for docomo, au, and SoftBank handsets, but is easily extensible to support more devices.

Since 2004, the Keitai-dev Wiki has been the comprehensive English-language developer resource for Japanese mobile phones. In particular, it is geared towards creating a mobile website for the Japanese market. mobalean sponsors the wiki and has made substantial contributions to it. It was previously operated by Starling Software.

WURFL data for Japanese handsets
Mobalean has and continues to make substantial contributions of Japanese handset data to the WURFL, an open-source capability database for mobile phones.

Mobalean is the current maintainer of the ruby API for the WURFL.
